School Support
How it works
The student has an ABA support therapist who attends school with the student. The student has an individualized treatment plan at school, which is written by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at the start of every school term and/or when updates are needed. The plan at school is based on the BCBA’s assessment of the student’s skills and the student’s behavior needs at the school.
The BCBA writes up a behavior plan for the student and she trains the therapist on the behavior plan. The behavior plan outlines for the therapist what she needs to do. The BCBA also supervises and monitors the therapist at the school.
Who this service is for
This service is provided to students attending mainstream academic settings. The student may be displaying behavioral issues at school or could be an individual with autism, ADHD, or other developmental delays.

A key component to ensure success in schools is collaboration between PlaySchool and the school team. We strive to create a professional working relationship with schools in order to achieve best outcomes for all the students we support.
