PlaySchool
PlaySchool was founded in 2016 to provide the highest quality of ABA services to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, enabling them to reach their fullest potential and be included in the Jordanian community. Over the years it has grown, adapted, and changed to become a place where everyone belongs.
Our Approach
At PlaySchool we use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) when working with students with Autism, developmental disabilities, or behavior issues. ABA is a scientific method which uses the principals of learning to analyze, understand and change behavior. The focus of the therapy is on teaching essential skills such as language, social, self help, and play skills and reducing problem behaviors.
By observing the behaviors, analyzing the effect of the environment on the behaviors, and using methods such as positive reinforcement, ABA changes behaviors in a way which is socially significant and with the goal of improving not only the student's life, but the lives of the family as a whole.
